When it comes to gift guide requests, presents for in-laws, parents, and grandparents always top the list. And I get it—finding them something can be incredibly hard! They don't really need anything, rarely offer suggestions, and it’s easy to run out of ideas. But if you find yourself in that situation, I personally love giving them a joint gift instead of individual ones. It allows you to work with a bigger budget, and you only have to buy a single gift—it’s a win-win! That said, I’ve also included some smaller, budget-friendly options. Happy shopping!
Personalized Gifts

When in doubt, personalized gifts for in-laws and parents are always a great idea. Digital photo frames are popular for a reason, but if they already have one, I love these options: a framed 9-photo collage (use code LAKESHORELADY for 20% off!), a desktop calendar, and a recipe book for family favorites.
I also love giving a personalized return-address stamp; it’s so practical to be able to stamp it on rather than writing out the address by hand every time.
Gifts for Foodies
If they really aren't into material objects, give them something to eat! I’ve heard amazing things about Wildgrain, a subscription service offering frozen sourdough breads, artisanal pastries, and fresh pasta. We also love our ButcherBox subscription, though I admit it’s a little less exciting than homemade sourdough. If you’d rather skip the subscription, Brightland makes delicious olive oils and vinegars; plus, they come in beautiful bottles and stunningly presented gift sets. It’s the perfect gift for "the person who has everything."
Things That Smell Great
Have you looked at all these ideas and they still don't really want anything? Give them something that smells wonderful. They’ll love putting this lovely hand soap in the guest bathroom. Who could resist controlling exactly how their home smells with this diffuser? Or how about a luxurious body wash (use code LAURENN15!) for the shower? They might not ask for any of these things, but that doesn't mean they won't love them!
Some Sephora Sale Favorites
MERIT Minimalist Stick

Honestly, I don’t know how I’d manage motherhood without this makeup stick. It’s like a crayon for your face: you apply it, blend it (so easy!), and you’re done. It couldn't be simpler! I love the *Bisque* shade for my face and *Sandstone* if I need something a bit brighter for my under-eye area.
MERIT Flush Balm
I already own quite a few shades of this balm, and I literally love them all. They’re buildable, blend easily, and I love being able to toss one in my bag when I’m on the go. I also love pretty much everything Merit makes—it’s a sure bet!
Armani Foundation
This has become my go-to when I’m heading out. It offers great coverage while leaving my skin looking incredibly soft and natural. It’s worth the investment, especially if you use it mainly for special occasions!
One/Size by Patrick Starrr Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder
I bought the translucent version and was impressed, but then I was sent the pink shade and... wow! The pink shade helps neutralize and brighten dark circles while giving the skin a camera-ready finish.
One/Size Setting Spray
This setting spray is an absolute wonder. It keeps makeup intact all day long. ALL. DAY. LONG. I also love this particular version; it feels more suitable for everyday use.
Salt & Stone Deodorant

It is the BEST DEODORANT IN THE WORLD. Not only does it smell amazing, but it’s aluminum-free and actually WORKS. I’ve convinced so many people to buy it, and everyone loves it. One of my best discoveries of 2025! Crown Affair Dry Shampoo
I don't want to sound like I'm exaggerating, but THIS PRODUCT MADE ME A BELIEVER IN DRY SHAMPOO. I’ve tried so many types over the years and usually end up showering because my hair feels dirty or sticky... except with this one. Instead of a spray, it’s a powder that you apply by brushing it into your hair; it truly leaves it feeling clean, without that weird film sprays often leave behind. It’s pricey, but you get a huge amount of product—especially considering a little goes a long way. For me, it’s a must-have; I’m obsessed with it.
Dyson Airwrap
As someone who resisted buying it for a long time because of the price, I regret to inform you that it is AMAZING. It comes with so many attachments to create a wide variety of styles; my hair feels healthy when I use it, and I get more volume and movement than ever before. I love, love, love it.
Tula Facial Cleanser
This is another product I’ve been using for years. What I love most is that it’s gentle yet removes all my makeup.
