Your Quictent cover has gone. Maybe the zip finally packed in, maybe a storm tore it, maybe three summers of UV turned it brittle. The frame is fine, so you go looking for a replacement cover and hit a wall.
You are not being dim. The wall is real, and here is exactly what it is made of.
Quictent does not publish a single cover dimension for any model. Not for the one replacement cover it sells, not in any manual, not on any product page. Every cover is described only by the frame size it fits, and those frame sizes are themselves unreliable.
So this guide does not pretend to hand you a part number. It does something more useful: it shows you how to identify what you actually own, gives you the one purchase route that works, and tells you what to measure yourself because Quictent will not tell you.
The short answer
Quictent's own FAQ, on the 12x7x7 product page, answers this better than anything else on the site:
"Q: Do you sell the cover only? A: Yes, to ensure that the cover fits perfectly, we recommend confirming the specific model and measurements with our customer service team."
Translation: covers are sized by internal model number, not by dimension, and the model-number-to-dimension key is not published. Email is the route, not the shop.
What is publicly listed (almost nothing)
There is exactly one standalone greenhouse replacement cover SKU on quictents.com.
| Field | Detail |
| Listing | Greenhouse Cover for 20' x 10' x 7' Heavy Duty Large Greenhouse |
| SKUs | P-SZ-GH1306-C-G (green), P-SZ-GH1306-C-W (white) |
| Price | $99.99 |
| Stock | Out of stock, both colours |
| Fits | Quictent states: "Fit for 20X10X7FT Greenhouse and slected Model SZGH1306" |
| Cover dimensions | Not stated |
| Material spec | Not stated on the cover listing |
Quictent adds an instruction on that listing: reach out to us for model verification before ordering. Which is telling, given it is the only cover they sell.
On Amazon there are three more cover listings, for 12x6.6x6.6 in white and green and 20x10x6.6 in white. Note the first one, because quictents.com has no 12x6.6x6.6 greenhouse at all. Its nearest listings are 12x7x7 and 10x6.6x6.6. That naming mismatch is exactly what defeats buyers.
The purchase route that actually works

Quictent runs a placeholder product for parts. It is not obvious, and most people never find it.
1. Email sales@quictents.com with your original order number, the parts you need and the exact quantity. Quictent says it responds within 24 hours, and the manuals say within 12 hours on business days
2. They reply with a price
3. Go to the "Parts & Special Orders" listing on quictents.com, priced at $1.00, and enter the agreed amount in the quantity box, then pay
4. Place it as a separate order from any other merchandise. Discount codes do not work on parts
Out of warranty is 50% off. Quictent's warranty page states: 50% OFF for Part Order Exceeding 1-Year Warranty. The site footer repeats free or 50% off on parts.
What to send them
The manuals spell out exactly what Quictent wants:
- Your order number
- Required parts, with name, quantity and part number for each
- Pictures, or video clips if relevant
Contact details
- sales@quictents.com, the main route, listed on the contact page, the FAQ, the footer and inside both manuals
- maxlead.us@gmail.com, a secondary support address given only inside the PDF manuals, not on the website
- Phone +1 302 261 5366
- Contact form at quictents.com/pages/contact-us
The manual also warns to check your spam folder if you do not hear back, since replies are often blocked.
Identifying your greenhouse (the actual hard part)
Two identifier systems run in parallel and they do not cross-reference cleanly. Product pages use SKUs like GH1306, GM1302W and 13104M. Manuals use model numbers like #1306G, #1302W and #1312W.
Large and walk-in tunnel models
| Listing name | Page SKU | Manual model | Actual stated size |
| 20' x 10' x 7' Heavy Duty | GH1306 | #1306G / #1306W | 19.7 x 9.8 x 6.6 ft |
| 10' x 9' x 8' Backyard | GM1302W | #1302W / #1302 | 10 x 9 x 8 ft |
| 12' x 7' x 7' Tunnel | GM1303G | #1303G / #1303W | 12 x 7 x 7 incl. cover |
| 15' x 6.6' x 6.6' Premium | GH1305 | not published | 15 x 6.6 x 6.6 ft |
| 10' x 6.6' x 6.6' Premium | GH1337 | not published | 10 x 6.6 x 6.6 ft |
| 20' x 10' x 6.6' Large | 1325W / 1325G | not published | 20 x 10 x 6.6 ft |
| 25' x 10' x 6.6' Heavy Duty | 131016 / 131017 | #1319W | 24.6 x 9.8 x 6.6 ft |
| 20'/25' Upgraded Walk-in | 13104N / 13104M | #1323, #1324 | 20 or 25 x 10 x 6.6 ft |
Mini and shelf models
The mini manual contains the single most useful sentence Quictent publishes, and it explains the whole problem:
"All the models in this size have the SAME frame (both the structure and materials). You can tell the model from each other according to the COVER you received."
| Frame size | Models and their covers | Page SKU |
| 71" x 36" x 36" | #1310 clear PVC, #1312 green PE, #1312W white PE, #1315 ships both | GM1312, GM1310 |
| 95" x 36" x 36" | #1316 clear PVC, #1318 green PE, identical except the cover | GM1316 |
| 56" x 29" x 77" | #1309 clear PVC, #1309G green PE | GM1309 |
| 56" x 56" x 77" | #1317W clear PVC, #1317G green PE | GM1317 |
| 36" x 18" x 33" | not in published manuals | MINI-A |
| 98" x 49" x 53" | #0163, #0163K, 600D oxford with 18mil clear PVC | 0163G |
Notice the circularity. Quictent says to identify your model from the cover. If your cover has disintegrated, which is why you are here, that instruction is useless. Check the shipping carton or your original order instead.
Five reasons the size on the box will not get you the right cover
1. Nominal names are not measured sizes. The listing called 20' x 10' x 7' has a spec of 19.7 x 9.8 x 6.6 ft. The one called 25' x 10' x 6.6' is actually 24.6 x 9.8 x 6.6
2. Some nominal sizes include the cover overhang. The 12x7x7 spec row literally reads "Size (Includes extended cover)". The frame is smaller than 12x7x7
3. One nominal size maps to at least five model families. 20x10x6.6 exists as GH1306, 1325W/G, 13104M/N Upgraded, 13104R/S Premium, and a separate tunnel hoop listing. Their covers are not interchangeable
4. Quictent's own SKUs collide. 13104M and 13104N appear on three different products. 13104B appears on two different 71 inch minis. Quoting a SKU to support may not disambiguate
5. Same frame, different covers, by design. One 71x36x36 frame serves four model numbers differing only in cover material and colour
And one more trap: the 12x7x7 was sold in both 1-door and 2-door variants under the same nominal size. A cover cut for one will not suit the other, and nothing on any cover listing addresses this.
How to measure your frame yourself

Quictent publishes no measuring guidance at all, so this is our own method, not a Quictent specification. Do it before you email them, because it turns a vague enquiry into a specific one.
1. Count the hoops. Walk the length and count every arched frame member. Write the number down
2. Measure hoop spacing. Centre to centre between two adjacent hoops, in inches
3. Measure the arc, not the width. Run a soft tape from the ground on one side, up and over the top of one hoop, down to the ground on the other. This is the cover's circumference dimension and it is not the same as the stated width
4. Measure the ridge length. Along the top from the front frame to the back frame
5. Measure the end frames. Width and height of the front and rear openings
6. Add overhang. Quictent's own manual says you can bury the extended edge at both sides of the cover into the soil, so the original cover was cut oversize on purpose. Allow at least 12 inches extra on the arc and on the ridge for burying or weighting
7. Photograph the whole greenhouse, both ends and any label on the frame or carton
Send all of that with your email. It is far more than Quictent asks for, and it is the difference between a cover that fits and a second wasted purchase.
What the covers are made of
Quictent publishes areal weight, not thickness. 140 g/sqm is the figure that recurs across the range, on the 15ft and 20ft models, the Premium Heavy Duty, the 20x10x6.6 Large and the minis.
It does not publish PE film thickness in mil or micron for any model. And gsm cannot be converted to thickness without knowing the film density and the weave ratio, so anyone quoting you a mil figure for a Quictent PE cover is guessing. The only genuine mil figure in the range is 18mil clear PVC on the 98x49x53, which is a PVC and oxford hybrid, not a tunnel cover.
Two different cover families, easy to confuse
- Transparent PE with green leno reinforcement, used on the large tunnel models such as 1302W and 1306
- Reinforced PVC, used on several of the minis. On some mini sizes the same frame ships either PE or PVC depending on model number
Reinforcement is described three different ways across the range: green leno, PE grid, translucent mesh, and PE mesh with Oxford-reinforced stress points. These are not interchangeable descriptions of one thing.
UV claims
Quictent claims UV Index 6 protected, meets the UVI level 6 standard, or UV-resistant agent depending on the model. No ASTM or ISO standard is cited, no UV stabiliser grade, no hours-of-exposure rating.
Strictly, UV Index is a solar intensity scale, not a material rating, so the claim as written is not technically meaningful. The only lifespan claim Quictent makes anywhere is that the cover "lasts for over years", which is not a number.
Warranty: the cover has the shortest term of any part
| Part | Warranty per Quictent's warranty page |
| Frame | 1 year free warranty |
| Cover | 6 months |
| Connectors | Lifetime |
| Out of warranty parts | 50% off |
The manuals state it slightly differently, giving 365 days for pole and connector and 180 days for the cover, so the website and the manual disagree on connectors.
The exclusions matter more than the term. Quictent excludes inevitable breakdown due to extended use, giving exhausted zippers as its own example, plus defects caused by accident, abuse, alteration, animal attack, bad weather damage, misuse or improper care.
The manual is blunter: damages due to improper use in severe weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, heavy rain, sleet and snow, will NOT be covered.
So zip failure is explicitly excluded, and all weather damage is excluded. Those two account for most cover failures.
One thing to ignore: every page footer advertises "Up to 5-Year Warranty". Per the warranty table, five years applies to shade sails and galvanized raised garden beds, not greenhouses. Amusingly, raised garden beds get 2 years on their greenhouse cover, four times what an actual greenhouse cover gets.
Proof of purchase rule: Quictent states the order number or shipping information on the shipping carton is the only valid evidence to claim warranty. Returns are accepted only for manufacturing defect, within 14 days of receipt.
Doors and windows differ, and covers are not documented to match
| Model | Doors | Vents and windows |
| 20x10x7 (GH1306) | 2 | Ten vents, two in the doors and eight on the sides |
| 12x7x7 (GM1303) | 1 or 2, sold as variants | Three window vents each side |
| Premium Heavy Duty Large | 2 zipper screen doors | 8 roll-up windows on 20ft, 10 on 25ft, plus 2 door nettings |
| Upgraded 20/25ft | not stated | Window size 31.5" x 19.7" |
| Tunnel hoop 20x10x6.6 | 2 | 8 vents plus mesh windows, size dependent |
| Minis 71" and 95" | Side zipper door | 4 zips on the cover |
Whether a replacement cover reproduces your original door and window layout is not stated anywhere. Ask explicitly when you email, and say how many doors and windows yours has.
Anchoring and wind
No wind rating is published for any Quictent greenhouse. Not in mph, not in km/h, not for any model. We checked every product page, both readable manuals and the FAQ.
The anchoring hardware that ships with each model, from the manual parts lists:
| Model | Foot bases | Ground stakes | Ropes |
| #1302W (10x9x8) | 6 | 16 | 2 |
| #1303G/W (12x7x7) | 8 | 16 | none listed |
| #1306G/W (20x10x6.6) | 10 | 20 | none listed |
| 95" x 36" x 36" | n/a | 8 | none listed |
| 56" x 29" x 77" | n/a | 8 | 4 |
Quictent openly tells you to buy more. Its own wording, repeated across the large model pages: we recommend you purchase additional anchoring materials locally or use compost, manure, topsoil, bricks and similar around the sides to enhance stability. And: the front of the greenhouse should NOT face the direction the wind predominantly blows from.
What Quictent says to do in bad weather
- Secure the cover at all times by tying all the Velcro or ropes inside, and fix the extended part of the cover with extra weights such as soil, bricks, stones or sandbags
- When high winds blow, open all the doors and windows to let the wind pass through
- Put down the cover, or move the greenhouse and plants somewhere sheltered, before extremely bad weather such as hurricanes or tornadoes
- Clear snow promptly in winter or the frame may break from overloading
There is no published winter removal protocol though. No temperature threshold, no folding or storage instruction, no reinstallation guidance. If you take the cover off for winter, fold it dry and store it out of sunlight, which is our advice rather than Quictent's.
Quictent's own five reinforcement tips: anchor the greenhouse to the ground, zip tie the shelves, add a floor, use bricks around the perimeter, or add support posts inside the structure.
What actually fails

Quictent holds 4.1 out of 5 from 639 Trustpilot reviews. The failure pattern in those reviews is consistent.
- Zips. "zippers for the screen doors have been slowly failing to where they won't zip shut" and "The zippers need to be heavy duty. My zipper on the big door broke". Remember these are explicitly excluded from warranty
- Cover life is inconsistent batch to batch. One reviewer: "First cover lasted 2 years, replacement didn't even make it one season"
- Fit, and this one matters here: "there aren't any flaps on the covers, or the cover is too short for the frame"
- Wind tears in the panel field, reported on garden forums
One correction worth making. Quictent greenhouse covers do not appear to use grommets at all. Neither manual's parts list includes them, and attachment is described as Velcro straps plus internal ropes. If you read about grommet tear-out on a Quictent, that page is about a different product.
Service comes out well in reviews, which supports the email route: contacted quiktent and within a day they shipped out replacement parts, and customer service was outstanding and super helpful, I had a new one within a week.
Third party covers
They exist in matching nominal sizes. No third party vendor claims Quictent fitment, and we could not verify that any of them actually fit.
| Vendor | Sizes offered | Material | Price |
| STRONG CAMEL | 20x10x7, 12x7x7, 10x7x6, 16x7x7, 24.6x10x7 | 135 g/sqm PE, UV protected | $58.99 |
| BenefitUSA | 20x10x7 | not verified | not verified |
| Outsunny | 19.7' x 9.8' x 6.6' | not verified | not verified |
One circumstantial lead worth knowing: the Outsunny cover is sold at 19.7 x 9.8 x 6.6 ft, which is precisely the actual measured size in Quictent's own GH1306 spec table. That is suggestive, not confirmed. If you try it, buy from somewhere with a returns policy.
The STRONG CAMEL size list also mirrors Quictent's older nominal range almost exactly, at 135 g/sqm against Quictent's 140.
Stock reality, which affects all of this
Of Quictent's greenhouse range, only four products have any variant in stock: the Premium Heavy Duty Large Walk-in, the 20/25ft Upgraded Large Walk-in, the 71 inch mini in green and clear, and the 95 inch small in green.
Everything else is out of stock, including the whole Pop Up range, the entire polycarbonate range, the 10x9x8, 12x7x7, 15x6.6x6.6, 10x6.6x6.6, all the shelf greenhouses, and the one replacement cover.
Many of those are legacy models still standing in gardens, which is exactly the population that needs a cover. Factor that into your expectations before you email.
FAQ
Where do I buy a Quictent replacement cover?
Email sales@quictents.com with your order number, model, quantity and photos. They quote a price, then you pay through the Parts & Special Orders listing on their site. Only one cover is publicly listed and it is out of stock.
What size cover do I need for my Quictent greenhouse?
Quictent publishes no cover dimensions, so nobody can answer this from your greenhouse's advertised size. Find your model number on the carton or your original order, measure the arc and ridge yourself, and send both to Quictent.
Will a universal greenhouse cover fit a Quictent frame?
Possibly. No third party claims Quictent fitment and none is verified. Outsunny sells one at 19.7 x 9.8 x 6.6, which matches Quictent's actual GH1306 measurement, but treat that as a lead rather than a guarantee.
How long is the warranty on a Quictent cover?
Six months. Zip failure and all weather damage are explicitly excluded. Out of warranty parts are 50% off. Ignore the 5 year warranty claim in the footer, which applies to shade sails and raised beds.
Why is my Quictent cover too short for the frame?
Usually a model mismatch. The same nominal size covers at least five different Quictent model families, and some nominal sizes include the cover overhang rather than measuring the frame. The extended edge is also meant to be buried, so a cover that looks short may just need less burying than you expected.
How long do Quictent covers last?
Quictent only claims over years, with no figure. Owner reports range from one season to more than two years, which suggests batch variation rather than a predictable lifespan.
Bottom line
Quictent will sell you a cover, but not through its shop. The route is email, with your model number, quantity and photos, paid through a $1 placeholder listing, at half price if you are past a year.
Before you send that email, do the measuring yourself. Count the hoops, measure the arc over the top and the ridge length, photograph both ends, and note how many doors and windows yours has. Quictent asks for none of that, which is exactly why so many people end up with a cover that does not fit.
