Turkey Strawberries
These Chocolate Covered Strawberry Turkeys are an adorable Thanksgiving treat that is almost too cute to eat! Made with fresh strawberries, pretzel sticks, mini marshmallows, and melted chocolate, these little turkeys are surprisingly easy to make. The chocolate-covered strawberries look like tiny roasted turkeys, complete with little pretzel legs!
This is such a cute Thanksgiving snack to make with the kids and great option for anyone who wants something a little lighter than a big slice of pie. Serve them alongside your favorite Thanksgiving desserts for a festive treat that’s just as fun to look at as it is to eat! (But they’re super tasty too!)

Ingredients:
- strawberries; washed and dried
- Milk chocolate melting wafers
- White chocolate melting wafers
- Mini marshmallows
- Pretzel sticks
Helpful kitchen tools
- Microwave safe bowls
- Large Baking Sheet
- Parchment Paper
Instructions
- Make the Legs – Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second increments, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Dip one end of each pretzel stick into the melted white chocolate. Let dry. Place marshmallows on the other ends of the pretzel sticks.
- Make the Body – Melt the milk chocolate using the same process as the white chocolate. Hold the strawberries by the leaves and dip in the melted milk chocolate so that all of the red part of the strawberry is covered. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Coat the Legs – Dip the marshmallow end of each turkey leg into the melted milk chocolate, until the marshmallow is fully coated.
- Assemble – While the milk chocolate is still wet, take two legs and place one on each side of the strawberries making sure to touch the strawberry so it dries attached.

Prep Tips
- Yield – The ingredients listed make 8 strawberry turkeys, but this recipe can easily be scaled up to make more!
- Assembly – Because the milk chocolate needs to be wet to attach the legs to the body, you may want to make one turkey at a time. If you dip all the strawberries and legs and then start assembling, some of them may dry before you can finish.
- Chocolate – Melting wafers are formulated to melt smoothly and evenly. You can use chocolate chips if that is what you have on hand, but I recommend stirring in a little bit of shortening or coconut oil to help them melt more smoothly.
